Online travel businesses are particularly reliant on data intelligence to drive competitive advantage within the category. Our brief for Travel Chapter was to create a holistic but deep reporting platform to provide all leaders around the business with insights to steer their day to day decision making.
A consolidated cloud based DWH was created, joining the company’s key data sources into a single environment for the first time. A custom-built application was built on top of this, refreshing daily, and incorporating five dashboards oriented towards the 5 key business functions (sales, marketing, property, HR, Finance). The solution covers a range of KPIs that allow Travel Chapter to better understand booking trends, booking revenue, and the impact of business strategy on commercial and customer behaviours.
